Ain’t she the cutest nurse?
Yesterday, she and her classmates participated in their school’s Community Heroes’ Day. We scouted for her costume at the local market near us, and I am glad I didn’t have to buy online or in more expensive stores. Thank goodness for that spate of non-working holidays.
As I have posted on FB, I am really sorry for always missing her school activities. I hope she and even Ate Mischa don’t hate me too much. It is for them that I choose work over them sometimes. I would never choose work because I love my work more, but because I have to.
Because I already took a leave of absence on Maxine’s birthday, I could not come with her during her first United Nations activity in school. Her class was picked to represent the South American region, and I have long bought her costume when I had the chance to pass by a costume store. She looked so pretty as Ms. Venezuela! I let wake up early that day so I dress her up and take her photos. Sorry, anak, hehehe.
Thank God for mommy friends in school and FB pages, I was able to see her performance and other photos while in school.
Our second party last weekend took us to the princess-themed celebration of Christelle Brie. There was a also a request to come in in costumes. Mischa and Maxine came in decked as Queen Elsa and a ladybug (which incidentally was Ate‘s attire during her first birthday some five years ago).
Mischa enjoyed the games and the magic show. She also brought home a lot of loot.
